Dr. Robert Hadsell, Mohonasen Class of 1960, contacted our district public relations representative via email with the idea of expanding the site to include pages regarding the history of our fine school district. The idea grew into a project for a brand new club that was to form during the fall of 2000, Draper Middle School's Club Generation Y. The club, consisting of Draper Middle School students, conducted the research for and developed this site. Dr. Hadsell was the featured guest speaker at the club's very first meeting in September 2000 which was scheduled to coincide with his attendance at the   40th Reunion of the Class of 1960. Since then Gen Y club members have communicated with many about Mohonasen history.

Forty something years of Mohonasen history is too much to research and write about. We decided that since the very first Mohonasen graduating class was the Class of 1960, we should focus on Mohonasen of the 60's and what has changed and stayed the same. We're excited to see what future generations of Club Gen Y students will add to this site.

Do you have some historical information that should be added to this site? If so, please email Draper Generation Y. We'll continue to add next fall. We'll need to work on a "Mohonasen Music of the 60's" page showcasing the history behind our Alma Mater and other things.
