1. Determine the wind chill temperature. (See the link below for help.)

2. Start with dirty parking lot slush. The number of cups of slush should be equal to the wind chill temperature divided by two.

3. Pour the slush into a large pot over an outdoor cooking fire.

4. Stir in old, stale fruitcake. The number of ounces of fruitcake should be equal to three times the number of cups of slush.

5. Add wet, soggy, winter gloves. The number of gloves should be equal to the number of ounces of fruitcake divided by six. Round to the nearest whole glove if necessary.

6. Mix in leftover candy canes. (You know, the ones that no one wants to eat.) The number of candy canes should be equal to the number of gloves plus five.

7. Stir for 20 minutes while heating over the fire. You can expect a snowday within a week.
