 This
is the 26th year that the Mohonasen Teachers Association
(MTA) organized a Christmas Wish fund for families
within the district who need some extra help around the
holidays.
The district received
help from parents, faculty, staff, board members, school
groups, individuals, and community organizations to
provide 34 district families — which includes 72
children — with food and gifts for the holiday season.
Additionally, four
children within the district were chosen to go on a
special shopping spree where they could pick out their
own gifts.
One family that needed
assistance last year decided to help out another family
this year, now that they are back on their feet!
