 Mohonasen
High School’s Holiday Spirit began right after
Thanksgiving and has not stopped.
Faculty,
staff, parents, students and various student
organizations, enthusiastically purchased gifts for two
separate families. This effort was organized in the main
office and shared with all. The gifts began flowing in
and did not stop arriving until Dec. 21. The gifts
ranged from socks, books, coats, boots, car seats, a
vacuum, grocery gift cards and toys. Each family
received a turkey, with all the fixings — along with
bags of gifts, each tailored to the family’s needs.
On Thursday, Dec. 21, Mohonasen High School
Administrators escorted both the Senior Boys' and Senior
Girls' basketball players to each of the homes. Students
handed each member of the family a gift, as they sang
Christmas Carols together with the families.
It is the high school's hope that the feeling of giving,
spending time with family and friends, and helping
others, will last all throughout the year!
