First- and second-grade students at Bradt recently raised over $11,000 — $11,380.38 to be exact — for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
There were three classes who raised over $1,000 each, and Bradt School more than doubled what most participating schools
in that particular age-range raise!
Students participated in the district-wide Math-a-thon, where they worked individually and in groups to complete as many as 250 math problems from home, while obtaining sponsors for donations based on the number of problems completed. Each student who collected a minimum of $35 in pledges received a t-shirt and a free pass to any Six Flags Theme Park.
Congratulations to all of the students who helped raise donations, and thank you to the community members who supported such a wonderful cause!
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
