Mohon Masque places second in Capital Region for best musical; Six students nominated for best actor/actress, one receives top honor

Mohon Masque's production of The King & I has received second place for the best musical in the Capital Region. Additionally, six Mohonasen students were nominated for the best actor/actress category, with Mohonasen High School senior, Claudia DeMartino, taking top honors in the region. 

The annual competition was sponsored by the Schenectady Light Opera Company. 

The students nominated for best actress/actor include:

  • Claudia DeMartino - first place winner
  • Chloe Hester
  • Jacob Nuding
  • Alexander Resila
  • Rachael Roman
  • Matthew Van Gelder
