One of Broadway's all-time classics will come to the
Mohonasen stage April 3-6 when Mohon Masque presents
The Music Man.
This American classic tells the story of
traveling conman "Professor" Harold Hill and his promise
to teach a small-town children's band using the "think
system." The Music Man features classic songs like "76
Trombones," "Gary, Indiana," and "Till There Was You."
Mohonasen's production stars Alex Resila as Harold Hill
and Alexandra Tebano as Marian the Librarian (left). They're
joined by an all-star cast of 90 students in grades
3-12.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and
senior citizens.
The April 3 show is a dress rehearsal at 6:30 p.m., and is free for senior citizens who present their Mohonasen Gold Card.
Senior citizens who are residents of the district can
obtain a Gold Card from the Superintendent's Office
(located at the back of the high school) between the
hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Any resident who is age 62 or
older qualifies for the card, which entitles them to
free entry at certain school district activities.
Regular performances will be held on April 4-5 at 7 p.m., and on April 6 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold on each show night at the door, but buying them in advance is strongly recommended.
Remaining pre-show ticket sales dates are:
Monday, March 31: 5-7 p.m./HS Main Lobby
Tuesday, April 1: 5-7 p.m./HS Main Lobby
Tickets will also be
sold at the door for all performances, beginning one
