What happens once I'm a
member?
| Induction Ceremony: Members of Tri-M are formally invited to an induction ceremony in which each member is presented with their own Tri-M pin. Alumni of Tri-M are also invited and honored at this ceremony. This ceremony provides the staff an opportunity to congratulate and honor you on your great achievements in the area of music education. |
| Scholarship Opportunities: Members of Tri-M are provided with several scholarship opportunities through the national chapter. Please click on the scholarship link to see a listing of some of the opportunities provided to members Tri-M Scholarships |
| Bi-weekly meetings: Mohonasen's Chapter of
Tri-M will meet on a bi-weekly basis. Meetings will be held on
Wednesday's during period 10 in the High School Orchestra Room.
Members are expected to attend. Poor attendance to meetings could
result in being denied membership. At meetings we will discuss
important topics concerning music education and our school. We will
host guest speakers and provide valuable learning experiences for
those serious about music in their lives. Calendar of Events |
| Workshops/Guest Speaker Opportunities: Our Tri-M chapter is always seeking ways to educate our youth on the field of music education and the opportunities for our students in this field. Our chapter's goal is to provide guest speakers, workshop days and educational trips for our members. |
| Graduation Recognition: Tri-M members are recognized with a special designation rope at their graduation. This rope signifies their dedication and service to the field of music education. |
