DRAPER MS MARCHING BAND
Rotterdam Memorial Day Parade

Congratulations on a fantastic concert and on our first parade! You are all performing very well, and a lot of people are noticing your effort and achievement. I am very proud of you for everything you have accomplished, and I look forward to great performances the rest of this year!

Any parents who are available and would like to help, we could use a few people to accompany us on the parade and ride a bus back to Mohonasen. Call my voicemail at school or email me if you are available – thanks!

The schedule for the Rotterdam Memorial Day Parade is as follows:

• 5:15pm – Arrive to the Middle School
• You may need to enter Mohonasen via the Helderberg Ave entrance.
• Be ready to play by 5:30
• Make sure you are in uniform (including BLACK pants, BLACK shoes, and BLACK socks!)
• Bring your instrument, if it is at home
• 6:10 – we move to lineup area
• We are listed in Division 4
• 6:30 – Parade begins, and we get moving!
• The parade route follows Curry Rd. from Mohonasen to the TOWN HALL.

Once the parade is finished, we will load the equipment onto the bus, and ride back to Mohonasen. We should be back to school no later than 8:00. PLEASE be ready for us once the parade is over – we will need students to help unload equipment and return it to the bandroom, but with many hands this job will be quick and painless! Anyone being picked up at Town Hall needs to bring me a note BEFORE the parade (or send me an email), and also needs to make arrangements ahead of time for someone to take care of their equipment.
