Band Instruments available at Pinewood are in one of 3 families

Brass family instruments include:  trumpet, baritone,  trombone, and   French horn.

In 4th and 5th grade, students may begin taking lessons on a  band instrument.  They receive one lesson per week during the school day.  It will be the same day, but not the same time each week.  Students need to practice at home 100 minutes per  week and write it in their practice chart.  After beginners have achieved the set requirements, they are invited to join the after-school band.
