Pinewood String Lessons
| All students at Pinewood have the opportunity to learn to play a string instrument with Mrs. P and join orchestra. Lessons may start at any time, grades 3 - 5. Lessons are once per week for
30 minutes. Lesson time rotates throughout the day, so a student only
misses the same time every 9 weeks (about four time during the school
year). Lessons are always on the same day each week. The instrumental
music program requires musicians to practice 100 minutes each week for
the best results! Lesson groups are as small as the schedule will allow, generally, 4-6 for violins/violas, 2-3 for cellos and 1-2 for basses. Our room is very small, but we love it! |
