Use the following web sites to locate information regarding the history of various sports. Choose two sports you think you may have an interest in and research their history. Type approximately two pages per sport, maximum four pages total, double-spaced, using a 12 pt. font.

 Introduction- Discuss why you are interested in the particular sports you chose to research.

Body- Locate the three web sites that list your sport and its history and use the following guidelines which should be included in your report.

• Country or area of the world where sport originated.

• Inventor(s):   Name of individual or group.

• Time period (approximate dates of origin).

• Original rules and equipment.

• Evolution of the equipment, and rules.

• Present status of sport I. E. popularity, governing bodies or leagues, Olympic involvement

Conclusion- In the final paragraph summarize some of the research you found to be the most interesting and educational in regards to the sports you studied.
