	Family... Franklin's father's name was James Roosevelt, and his mother's name was Sara Delano Roosevelt.
Birth and Home State... Franklin D. Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882. He was born in Hyde Park, New York. ~In this picture, young Franklin was dressed up as a girl~	~FDR at home in Hyde Park with his wife Eleanor and his mother Sara Delano Roosevelt.~
Education... Franklin was home schooled until 1904. Later, he went to Groton School and Harvard University. In 1907, he went to Columbia Law School. ~Franklin's school picture at Groton~	FDR also had many dogs. Their names were Fala, Tip, Taddy, and Duffy. ~Franklin as a small boy with a dog that is believed to be Taddy~ ~Franklin married Anna Eleanor Roosevelt in 1905. Eleanor was his distant cousin.~ He and his wife had one daughter, named Anna, and five sons.
