First Graders learn math concepts with hands-on Explorations.

Students learn counting and place value by playing the place value game.

Students use dominoes for counting, and playing the Top It game.

Students work on their number sequencing by making Math Scrolls. Each page of the scroll has 100 numbers in sequence.

Students learn about polygons by using straws and twisty ties to make polygon shapes.

100th Day of School Activities

Students participated in Math related Centers by making patterns on their hats, necklaces out of 100 Fruit Loops, putting together a puzzle with 100 pieces, lining up 100 dominoes, making 100 stamps, and making a snack out of 100 pieces of great snack food.
