Community
Day at Mohonasen
September 11, 2004 |

|
| On
September 11, 2004, Mrs. Weinlein and Mrs. Yates participated in
Community Days at Mohonasen with a hands on activity called
"Animal Tracks".
Participants observed and handled a real deer leg, a moose
toenail, and even made their own bear tracks! They had fun
identifying many animal tracks such as fox, bear, rabbit, duck,
and deer by pressing clay into track molds. They made their own
tracks by using the animal track molds in flour and salt to see
what the tracks would look like in the snow.
