As
part of the Bradt School 100 Day Celebration, B-wing coordinated
the making of 247 supply boxes that were donated to the troops in
Iraq
.
Supplies such as tooth brushes, chap-stick, and granola bars were
collected by the families all of the grade levels.
B-Wing students sorted and filled the boxes.
Thank you to Kathy Buckley from "Mom In Action" for
transporting our donations to the troops in Iraq.
The Bradt Community really came through for this worthwhile cause!

Each
year, the Schenectady Head Start program organizes a program to
help needy students during Christmas time.
In the spirit of
giving, our class adopted 2 needy students who live in Schenectady
County
.
This was a great project for our class. It taught an important
lesson to our more fortunate students when they learn about their
peers who are less fortunate. Shopping together as a family to
make purchases for our adopted students was a very rewarding
experience. So many students in our area are truly lacking in
basic needs, and this really did make a difference in their lives.
It felt good to share with those in need… especially this time
of the
year.
