Month	Unit of Study	Skills / Topics Being Learned
September	Weather	Students will identify different types of weather and learn associated vocabulary.
October	The Sky and Seasons	Students will identify things they see in the sky during the day and at night. They will learn the four seasons and how they are different from each other.
November	Solids and Liquids	Students will learn how to identify solids and liquids. They will observe and manipulate solids and liquids and discuss their properties.
February	Weighing and Balancing	Students will learn how to balance objects and how to compare the masses of different objects.
May	Habitats	Students will learn about different habitats (living environments) and be able to describe them and identify animals that live there.
