work well in class.
*Plan for 20 servings.
*Please do not send in treats containing nuts. No full
cakes, please. |

V.I.P.
Very Important Person
*Each student has a
turn to be recognized as the very special, important
person in class and at Morning Program.
*Our V.I.P. becomes our
Class Meeting Leader
* The V.I.P. has the opportunity
to share photos and treasures from home to tell about
and display in our hallway.
*The schedule of V.I.P. announcements at Morning program
is made in the classroom during the first week of school
and notification is sent home to help parents plan for
the special day at Morning Program. |
Morning Program{
*Dates announced from the school office each month and
on the V.I.P. notice.
*2nd grades meet on Thursday mornings from @ 8:45-9:15
in the Bradt Cafeteria.
All-School
Meeting
*All students, faculty, and staff get together for a
school community building assembly once each month.
Assemblies
*A few times in the year our class attends school-wide
presentations from professional artists.
*Sometimes we get to go to the High School auditorium
and sometimes we see the show in our cafeteria.
*The A-5 News tells all the details about the events as
they are current. |
Homeroom Parents{
*With great appreciation for the P.T.O., our class has
two designated parents who will help organize parties
and chaperones for field trips.
*All families are encouraged to sign up to donate
treats, beverages, and supplies for each party. The
contributions are greatly appreciated!

Scholastic Book Clubs
*Order forms are sent home each month to provide
an opportunity to purchase books.
*Our class earns bonus points with every
purchase. Mrs. Brem uses the bonus points to get
extra classroom materials free from Scholastic
Books for the children. |
