1. 7:30-8:00 bedtime

2. Provide nutritious a breakfast and snack everyday.

3. Ensure independence by:
    -practicing shoe tying
   -being sure that your child can open snack packages and has a spoon for        snack
   -replace school supplies such as pencils, crayons, and glue sticks

4. Have a place for notes and messages for adult review at home every night

5. Provide a routine time and place for homework daily.

6. Look over assignments and encourage quality work on assignments.

7. Read and discuss reading for @20 minutes as many days of the week as possible.

8. Practice addition facts with your child to help him/her master the sums for automatic recall.

9. Talk positively about school at home.
