Mohon Masque and Li'l Masque Theater proudly present "Damn Yankees," April 1-3

Come see the talented Mohon Masque and Li'l Masque cast as they present the musical, "Damn Yankees," this weekend. Senior Michael Aniolek, a TANYS award winner, plays hero Joe Hardy. Jacob Nuding plays alter-ego Joe Boyd. Other leads include Brianna Bennedict as the enticing Lola, Mike Perkins as the devilish Mr. Applegate, and Karley Enright as Joe’s baseball widow, Meg.

The show is a modern retelling of the Faust legend set during the 1950s in Washington, D.C., during a time when the NY Yankees dominated Major League Baseball. The story follows Washington Senators fan, Joe Boyd, who makes a pact with the Devil that allows him to turn into slugger Joe Hardy. Hardy leads the Senators to win the league pennant, but at what cost?

Damn Yankees was written by George Abbott and Douglass Wallop, with music by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross.
