Hitchcock breaks long-time wrestling record
Jan. 25, 2011
Senior Mark Hitchcock recently made history when he broke Mohonasen High School's long-standing wrestling record for number of wins. The previous school record was held by John Gallo for 30 years.
Mark has wrestled on the varsity team for four years and has placed in the top six of Section II the past three years. His career record is now 121 wins to 38 losses.
"Mark has numerous tournament championships and has dedicated himself in the off season by becoming a member of the Journeyman Wrestling Club, " said Varsity Wrestling Coach Sean Daley. "Congratulations to Mark and his dedication to wrestling."
