In January
and February, we will write and illustrate the books in class.
Most students will work with one or two partners; some students
may choose to work alone. Nearly all work on the books
will be done in class.
In May, our books will be published in
hardcover form by the StudenTales publishing company.
Students' donations will cover the cost of printing the books
for children in Uganda. Students will also be able to
purchase their own hardcover copies of their books.
Student copies cost $14.95.
Before we ship the books in June, we will hold
a fundraiser to cover the cost of shipping. We will create
a banner and ask Draper students and staff to sign the banner in
exchange for donations. Any extra money that we raise will
be sent as additional support for Uganda's children. More
