Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008: CCI Meeting - Conceptual/Programmatic discussions regarding budget
Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, 3:15-5 p.m.: District administrators/supervisors meet to continue budget discussion
Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, 3:15-5 p.m.: District administrators/supervisors meet to continue budget discussion
Monday, Dec. 22, 2008: Budget packets due to Assistant Superintendent for Business (principals, directors must set up time to meet and review budget with assistant superintendent for business during the month of January)
Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, 6 p.m.: Open Community Forum - General overview, budget goals, priorities
Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, 3:15-5 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center: District administrators/supervisors meet to prepare final draft priorities and focus K-12
Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, 7 p.m., HS Library: Budgeting "101," General discussion of school district accounting and budget components.
Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, 6 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center: General overview of budget, budget goals, priorities
Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, 7 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center: Budget review - General support, operations and maintenance, transportation, debt service transfers and special items

Monday, March 23, 2009, 6 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center: Budget review - Instruction, staffing & employee benefits. Adoption of Special Propositions for budget in order to be published in Notice of Annual Meeting on 4/3, 4/17, 5/1, 5/15 (at least four times, forty-five days prior to budget vote).
Friday, April 3, 2009: Deadline to advertise first legal notice publication of date, time and location of budget hearing and budget vote.
Monday, April 6, 2009, 6 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center: Budget review - Revenues & Budget Recap
Monday, April 20, 2009, Board of Education Meeting, 7 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center - Budget adoption and adoption of Property Tax Report Card. Deadline for filing Board Candidate Petitions - 5 p.m. (30 days prior to vote)
Tuesday, April 21, 2009: Submit Property Tax Report Card to SED
April 28 - May 5, 2009: Budget document and notice postcard made available to public (at least 14 days prior to vote and 7 days prior to budge hearing)

qualified voters of school district mailed (no later than six

Deadline (3 p.m.) for receiving application for Absentee Ballots
if ballot is to be mailed to voter (at least 7 days prior to
budget vote)
Tuesday, May 19, 2009: Deadline (5 p.m.) for absentee ballot applications for voters who will hand-deliver ballots
Tuesday,
May 19, 2009: Budget Vote Day - District annual meeting and
election, 7 a.m.-9 p.m./Mohonasen High School
Deadline (5 p.m.) for receipt
of all absentee ballots in order to be counted in the election
vote.
Monday, June 1, 2009: Board of Education Meeting, 7 p.m., Farnsworth Technology Center: Acceptance of results of election of May 19, 2009
