Spring sports physicals on Feb. 28
Spring sports physicals will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28. High school physicals will be held at 2:11 p.m. in the high school nurse's office. Middle school students must sign up for a physical by Feb. 17 in the middle school nurse's office. The middle school exams will be held during the school day on Feb. 28.
Students must have a signed Physical Permission (Pre-Season Sports History Update - PDF) form at the time of the physical. Forms are available online, in the Nurse's Office, or in the Athletic Office.

Both boys and girls win holiday basketball tournaments
Congratulations to the Mohonasen boys and girls varsity basketball teams. The boys won the Kirvin Cup Basketball Tournament last week, beating Bishop Gibbons 63-49. The girls placed first in the Holiday Basketball Classic, beating Glens Falls 50-40. Both tournaments were held at Mohonasen High School.
Killian Tallman was named MVP for the boys team and Samantha Hall was named MVP for the girls.

Soccer team recognized by BOE
The Mohonasen Varsity Boys Soccer Team was recently honored by the Board of Education for their Section 2 Class A Championship Title. Congratulations to all!

Congrats to the Mohonasen Varsity Wrestlers
A total of 13 teams competed at the 10th annual Mohonasen Varsity Invitational this past weekend. The Mohonasen team finished 2nd behind Saratoga. Congratulations to the following wrestlers:
1st: Steve Shadick, Kyle Ragule and Cory Quintana; 2nd: Jordan Alburger, Dom Notar and Eric Pierone; 3rd: Josh Demarco; 4th: Austin Kownack and Tom Layten.

To play on a team, or even practice, students must – by law – have a sports physical on file with the school nurse. The physical must be dated within the past calendar year of the current sport season. LEARN MORE

Attention all student-athletes
All prospective student-athletes intending to enroll in an NCAA Division I or II institution for the first time on or after August 1, 2007 must complete the NCAA Amateurism Certification questionnaire. (If you enrolled full time in a Division I or II institution prior to the Fall of 2007, you do not need to complete the amateurism questions.)
