| Second grade art
students learned a little about abstract art, and how there is no right
or wrong to the design. So we welcomed mistakes! We
dropped some black watercolor paint onto the paper and blew the puddle
with a straw until the line went off the paper. We continued
this until we filled up the paper with an interesting abstract
design. Once the lines were dry, we filled the shapes with
different colors. Some of our paintings look an awful lot like Wassily
Kandinsky!
