Choirs and General Music

Who is Ms. Strichman?

 

In addition to directing the Pinewood Choirs, Ms. Strichman teaches general music to most of the Pinewood students.

 

Education:

B.A. Music Performance (piano) - SUNY Binghamton

M.M. Voice - Syracuse University

MS. Music Education - College of St. Rose

 

Ms. Strichman is an adjunct faculty member at Schenectady County Community College's Music Department.  She has been an active performer, most recently at Glimmerglass Opera. She also has served as music director for several community theater productions. 

 

Upcoming:   

March 16-18, 22-25 - cameo role of Grandma Tzeitel in Schenectady Light Opera production of "Fiddler on the Roof"

 

July -  music director for "Music Man" with Rotterdam's Our Own Productions, Leslie Eliashuk, procuder.
