So you have to read twenty minutes a night and can't find a good book? Here are some recommendations from students and myself:

GUYS READ!
From author Jon Scieszka, a site for books for guys, that guys would like to read. Mr. Scieszka is the author of The Stinky Cheeseman and Other Fairly Stupid Fairy Tales and The Time Warp Trio Series.He also edited Guys Write for Guys Who Read and Guys Read: Funny Business.

The Sisters Grimm Series by Michael Buckley

Sabrina and Daphne find out they are related to the Brothers Grimm when they go to live with their Granny Relda. Once they are in Ferryport Landing they meet very interesting people, who are not what they seem. The girls learn to be detectives as they help their grandmother solve the mysteries in the town and look for their missing parents.

Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Mysteries

Follow Nancy and the Hardy brothers as they solve mysteries and save the day in their hometowns. These books have become classics and read and enjoyed by many generations!

Diary of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

Greg just doesn't have any luck. A comical way in which to look at the world through the eyes of a 6th grader. The illustrations are in the form of a comic book which makes the students love it!
