December Character word: Responsibility

**Use your head, think before you act, imagine the consequences and

do what you are supposed to do**

 

What is responsibility?

Responsibility means to be accountable, reliable, and people can depend on you do your what you are supposed to do.

 

How can I show responsibility?

• Do my best

• making good choices

• if I make a mistake I am accountable for my actions

• Apologize

• I don't blame others and I am honest

• I take care of my things

• I do what I say I am going to do

• I do my homework

• I do chores

• I help out

• Keep clean and take good care of myself

These are some of the many things I can do to show responsibility...

 

Things to help me with my responsibilities:

• Write in my assignment notebook

• Make lists of jobs or assignments I need to do

• Keep a calendar of all my plans; practices, school events, birthday parties, play dates, and any other obligations

• Make a chart of my chores and the days I am supposed to do them
