Elementary schools collect school supplies for districts affected by Hurricane Irene

Local Girl Scout group teams up with Pinewood
Oct. 12, 2011

In September, both Bradt and Pinewood schools held a school supply drive to help school districts affected by Hurricane Irene.

Bradt Elementary School donated their supplies to Middleburgh Central School District, and Pinewood Elementary School donated their supplies to Schoharie Central School District and Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District.

Additionally, local Junior Girl Scout Troop #2226 teamed up with Pinewood Elementary to collect school supplies for Schoharie Elementary School. The troop sorted through the donated supplies and delivered them to the school, where they met fellow girl scout troops.

Thank you to everyone who donated supplies!
