When looking for your school bus, don’t go by the bus number

Starting this year, school bus routes will no longer be identified according to the bus number. Instead, route numbers will be broken down by school and a route number placard displayed on the side of each bus will identify the route that bus is scheduled to take.

“We found that using the bus number to identify the route led to confusion for students, teachers and parents when a driver or bus changed,” said Mohonasen Transportation Supervisor Randy Jerreld.

Route numbers will be organized in the following way:

  • Routes 1-35: Draper Middle School and Mohonasen High School

  • Routes 40-57: Pinewood Intermediate School

  • Routes 60-72: Out of District Runs

Bradt school will continue to use the symbols that have been used for a number of years.

Specific bus stop and route information will be sent to students and their families later this month.
