District recognized for its website

Mohonasen
recently received an Award of Excellence for its website in the 2010
New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) competition. The new site launched in
the summer of 2008.
NYSPRA's annual contest is one of the largest of its kind in the
nation and received 400 entries in its 2010 contest. In addition to
websites, the contest judges newsletters, videos and electronic
newsletters. The Award of Excellence is the highest award available
in each category.
Award-winning recipients in NYSPRA’s 31st Annual Communications
Awards will be honored on October 22 at the annual NYSPRA Awards
Luncheon held in conjunction with the 2010 New York State School
Boards Association Convention in New York City.
NYSPRA is a statewide group of professional school communicators,
members are committed to the development and dissemination of
communications designed to engage parents, staff, community
residents, partners in education and other stakeholders.
The Mohonasen website was created by, and is maintained by, the Capital Region BOCES Communications Service.
