Winter athletes excel in swimming, track and field

Mohonasen's winter athletes have been busy in the pool and on the track. Here are some notable accomplishments from this winter:

  • Varsity Swimmer Michael Dugan:

    • 1:43.64 200 Freestyle - school and pool record

    • 1:59.55 200 Individual Medley - school record

    • 21:34 50 Freestyle - school and pool record, All American consideration

    • 50.32 100 Butterfly - sectional record, school and pool record, automatic All American

    • 46.43 100 Freestyle - school and pool record, All American consideration

  • At the Suburban Council Track & Field Championships, the girls finished 5th and the boys finished 7th. School records included:

    • Cournee Richardson, 7.09 seconds in the 55m (also a Section 2 record); 43.2 seconds in the 300m

    • Jessica Ciraulo, 35' 8.25" in the triple jump; 8.1 seconds in the 50m hurdles; 8.77 seconds in 55m hurtles; 63.32 seconds in 400m dash

    • Mi'chael White, 55.13 seconds in 400m

    • Nate Greklek, 7 seconds in 50m high hurdles

    • 4x400m relay team (Mi'chael White, Ahmed Wise, CJ Stone, Josh Johnson), 3:42.12

    • Mi'chael White, 55.13 seconds in the 400m
