On Feb. 26 and 27 the Boys' Mohonasen/Schalmont Varsity Swim Team sent five swimmers --  Mike Dugan, Jae Segatto, Matt Reiss , Nate Resila, and Dylan Woythal -- to compete at the state level.

Mike, Nate, Jae, and Matt finished 10th in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:39.78. Mike, Nate, Dylan and Matt carried the 200 Freestyle Relay team to a 9th place finish with a time of 1:29.03. On the individual field Nate Resila finished 30th in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 22.43 and 43rd in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:02.46. Mike Dugan finished 4th in the 50 Freestyle with a school record of 21.11, qualifying him for automatic All American status.

Mike also has the honor of being the first athlete in Mohonasen sports history who has ever won a State Championship. This feat came in the 100 Butterfly with a new Section 2 and school record of 49.55. This time also Qualifies Mike for automatic All American status.

Section 2 finished in 2nd place out of 11 sections in the state. Mohonasen Schalmont tied for 12th place out of 100 teams competing.
