Mohonasen set to induct first class into Athletic Hall of Fame

On Tuesday, Dec. 29, Mohonasen will induct
the first class into its Athletic Hall of Fame. The inductees are:

Soccer and wrestling star Pat Popolizio, class of 1971.

Wrestling, football and track star John Gallo, class of 1981.

Former basketball coach and athletic director Willard (Bill) Baker, who worked at Mohonasen from 1957-1988.

Former soccer coach and athletic director Lyle Bowers, who worked at Mohonasen from 1957-1973.
-
Soccer standout Brett Armstrong, class of 1972.
-
Former physical education teacher Angela Whisher, who worked at Mohonasen from 1958-1982.

Soccer star Peter Sgueglia, class of 2003.
-
Basketball standout Amanda Blackstone, class of 2002.
Please note that the induction ceremony is NOT open to the general public.
