Aaron Blanchard awarded with NYSOMA scholarship at Binghamton University Mohonasen senior receives Odyssey of the Mind scholarship

Mohonasen High School senior, Aaron Blanchard, was awarded a 2010 NYSOMA (New York State Odyssey of the Mind Association) Scholarship.

Aaron has participated in Odyssey of the Mind for more than seven years. He also plays the cello at Mohonasen High School and is an Eagle Scout, the highest rank awarded through the Boy Scouts of America. Aaron plans on majoring in nuclear engineering and music at Utah State University next year.

Aaron was one of two students in New York State to be awarded a NYSOMA scholarship, and also received a similar national Odyssey of the Mind scholarship, which is only awarded to 30 students nationwide each year.
