Sept. 10, Pinewood kicked off the school year with an energizing
character education assembly called, “The NED Show.”
The NED Show promotes academic achievement and character development by teaching three critical skills that will benefit kids throughout their life:
Never
Give Up
Encourage Others
Do Your Best
The NED Show also reinforced Pinewood’s building goal of respect for self and others. Through the use of entertainment, including yo-yo tricks, students were encouraged to be champions in life.
Students had the option of purchasing a NED Yo-Yo, which promotes the important messages conveyed throughout the show. Several fifth-grade students assisted in the sale of the yo-yo’s. The students were trained by Joe the performer in the art of adapting individual student yo-yo’s to help them be successful at the sport.
Yo-Yo’s purchased at Pinewood Intermediate School through the NED Show have a lifetime guarantee through All for Kidz, Inc. Parents may contact the customer service department at 1-877-872-9696 ext. 100 or ext. 101.
