Two students receive top prize at local Media Arts Festival

On March 25, two Mohonasen High School seniors placed first at the annual Media Arts Festival held at Niskayuna High School.
Dan Sabatini won the Original Electronic Music category and Lisa DeNovio won first place in the Enhanced Photography category.
Nineteen pieces of artwork from Sandra Rowbo’s Advertising and Design class and two original electronic music pieces from Gail Sparlin’s music classes were selected to be in the show.
Award certificates will be presented at a closing reception on Thursday, April 29, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Nisk-Art Gallery.
