school students, staff donate to local families

Mohonasen High School students, faculty,
staff and parents came together this winter to make the holidays
just a little brighter for three local families. Donations of gifts
and food began arriving before Thanksgiving. They included socks,
books, coats, boots, dishes, pots and pans, grocery gift cards and
gas cards, as well as a turkey and trimmings.
On Tuesday, Dec. 23, the varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams,
along with the Spanish National Honor Society and high school
administrators, delivered the gifts to each home.
