End-of-year events for fifth-grade students

Mark your calendars for the following end-of-year events for Pinewood fifth-grade students:

Friday, June 4: Grade 5 Track & Field Day at 9 a.m. The event will be held at Schalmont Field due to construction at Mohonasen. The picnic will immediately follow the event back at Pinewood School. A rain date is scheduled for June 7 at 9 a.m.

Friday, June 18: Grade 5 End-of-Year Field Trip to Saratoga State Park. In the event of rain, the field trip will be cancelled.

Wednesday, June 23: Grade 5 Moving Up Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Mohonasen High School Auditorium. Every child will receive two tickets on Monday, June 14 to take home. Tickets are limited to two per family. You must have your ticket with you to enter the HS auditorium on the morning of the event. The ceremony will be simulcast on a large screen in the High School Farnsworth Technology Center (LGI), where seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
