Writing workshops enhance students’ skills

Draper students recently had the opportunity to enhance their
writing skills through a series of mini workshops called, “Writing
Expressions.”
The district’s Literacy Consultant, Dr. Irene Rosenthal, Associate Professor of Literacy at the College of Saint Rose, along with a handful of Saint Rose graduate students, worked with the seventh and eighth graders in small groups.
Currently, students are working on their final projects, which consist of writing a letter to the editor after reading a NY Times article.
