Draper celebrates Earth Day with a little spring cleaning

To celebrate Earth Day (April 22), the Draper community hosted an Earth Day Clean-Up on April 24.

Volunteers planted 70 trees and 500 flower bulbs, and picked up trash and raked the middle school/high school campus. They also dug five holes for birdhouse posts in the middle school courtyard.

Thank you to the following volunteers:

  • Peers for Peace members, including advisors Maria Pacheco and Tricia Saullo;

  • Re-Tree Rotterdam, including Fred Saccocio and Kristofer Rose;

  • Modified baseball athletes, including Coach Matt Sitors; and

  • Various administrators, teachers, students, custodians and parents!
