2nd graders maintain correspondence with local VFW post

This school year, students in Darcy Brem's 2nd grade class have had an on-going correspondence with VFW Post 1895 in Rotterdam. The class sent thank-you letters on Veterans' Day, Valentine's Day cards and spring bunny stories.
Additionally, the Ladies Auxiliary came to the class to talk about patriotism and the American flag. The ladies presented the class with a flag, which the class then donated to Bradt school. The flag will be used at school assemblies.
