District launches new Web site

This September, the Mohonasen Web site is starting off the school year with a fresh face. The new site offers many of the same features visitors are used to—and much more.

For the last decade, Mohonasen has been a local leader in the area of Web communications. Thanks to this new site, Mohoansen will continue to offer a high level of communication utilizing the latest and most user-friendly technology. The Mohonasen Web site continues to be one of the best ways for parents to get up-to-date news and information.

  • News and happenings: Check out this page for links to important news stories, both on the district Web site and in the local news.

  • School News Notifier (SNN): SNN is an opt-in, e-mail alert system offered through the Mohonasen Web site. Parents and residents can sign up to receive e-mail updates and reminders about district activities or information about emergency closings and delays.

  • School pages: Each of the district’s four schools – Bradt Primary School, Pinewood Intermediate School, Draper Middle School and Mohonasen High School, has its own home page full of news and important information for students and parents.

  • Teacher pages: Many Mohonasen teachers maintain their own classroom or subject-specific Web pages. Click on the “Teacher Pages” link on any of the school home pages to access these teacher pages.

  • Safety & Wellness: This section of the new Mohonasen Web site offers valuable information for students and parents. Visitors can also go to this section to access our School Resource Officer’s Web page, which offers even more helpful resources.

  • The new Web site also offers information about the swimming pool and athletics, contact information for school and district offices, board of education meeting dates and other calendar information, lunch menus and much more.
