Volleyball players spread lesson in perseverance

The Mohonasen varsity and JV volleyball teams know how to persevere and they visited Bradt Primary School on Friday, Feb. 27 to teach students there about the lessons they have learned.  Along with the JV coach, Cara Olsen (who is also a third grade teacher at Pinewood), the girls dressed up like football players and did a short skit where they pretended they were in the final moments of a big football game. After a pep talk on working hard and not giving up, the girls came out to win the big game.

Afterwards, each member of the team talked about a time they persevered in their own lives -- and then gave students an opportunity to do the same.
