Photo of Recycling Achievement Award plaqueMohonasen recognized for recycling program

Mohonasen Central School District was recently recognized for its recycling efforts with the “Recycling Achievement Award" from TA Predel Co. in Schenectady.

Between Bradt, Pinewood and Draper schools, 21,930 pounds— that's 10.97 tons of paper—were collected in 2008 alone.

Recycling boxes are placed in each Bradt, Pinewood and Draper classroom. Students in each of the three buildings collect the paper in the smaller bins and put it into larger bins that TA Predel Co. then collects. (Please note that the high school uses a different recycling company)

Congratulations!
