Drape students watch Presidential InaugurationDraper students watch history in the making on Jan. 20

Draper eighth graders took a trip to the school library on Jan. 20, 2009 to watch Barack Obama, our nation's 44th president, as he was sworn into office.

The students were accompanied by their social studies teachers, Mr. Saccocio, Mr. DiAcetis and Mr. Wade-Keszey, who thought it was important to have their students watch the event.

After they watched the event, students got a chance to talk about what the event meant to them with a reporter from the Rotterdam Spotlight.
