Draper students learn about the moon, stars and more from museum outreach program

The Schenectady Museum brought it's knowledge and expertise to Draper Middle School on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Thanks to the museum's outreach program, students were treated to presentations on the moon, the stars and nanotechnology.

Two presenters from the museum's outreach program, Jason Gish and Nate Hawes, presented for three different sixth grade science classes. However, science teacher Laura Gallelli said she would be modeling the demonstrations for her other classes. Additionally, the sixth grade math classes took part in the nanotechnology presentation.

"It was great to have the museum come to our classroom," Gallelli said.
