Mohonasen family and friends Make Strides
October 2007
Approximately
40 members of the Mohonasen team participated in this year's Making
Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which was held in Washington
Park, Albany on Sunday, October 21.
The walkers were supported by the incredible generosity of the
people from Mohonasen, their families, and their friends who raised
$4,350 this year. The Mohonasen team joined 13,000 other
participants who raised a record breaking $875,000 that day!
Thanks to the Mohonasen School District for providing a bus to
transport the team to the Washington Park parade grounds, and to the
Mohonasen Teachers' Association for their support and generous
donation to this important cause.
A special thanks to all those who donated to Mohonasen's own
record-breaking total of $4,350 and to the team leaders Kim Coelho,
Karen Messersmith, Jill Osinski, Marylin Wagschall, Darcy Brem, and
Pam Constantino who helped organize the efforts.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer allows the American Cancer
