Draper teachers bike to work

On June 26, despite a forecast for rain and thunderstorms, 13 Draper Middle School teachers walked, ran or rode their bicycles to work. Calories and not gas were burned! The purpose of the event was to bring awareness to the fact that biking and/or walking are affordable, healthy and sustainable ways to commute to work, especially in a time when gas is more than $4 a gallon.

Biking saves money, avoids traffic, gets you exercising and often saves time.

One bike at a time- we can make a difference!
