Mohonasen celebrates cultural diversity

On
March 26, approximately 75 people gathered together to recognize and
celebrate the many different cultures within the Mohonasen community
at the district’s first ESL (English as Second
Language)/International Club Diversity Celebration.
ESL students and their families prepared a dish to share from their
native country, and local sponsors helped with the rest.
There are 15 ESL students in grades K-12 within the Mohonasen
district, who represent 10 different countries.
The district plans to hold a second celebration next fall.
